Snaking Up a Tree

Although highly improbable to accomplish, I witnessed a snake climb a tree yesterday. I had heard of snaking up a tree before and never knew what it meant. Having seen it, I think one meaning should be accomplishing difficult tasks. Witnessing that tree climbing feat brings an entirely different perspective to the term.
Entrepreneurs oftentimes tackle tasks that are difficult to accomplish. However, keeping a goal in mind, the entrepreneur will continue to strive to accomplish, even if difficult. That snake, although he obviously had a destination in mind, really used his head to try different directions, and, when he was satisfied that he knew where he was going, he then put his entire body into the effort, and accomplished getting where he wanted to be.
All references I can find to “snaking up a tree” are descriptive of roads curving up a mountain, or vines winding around a tree as they grow into it. But for me, snaking up a tree will now forever mean keeping a goal in mind, and really working hard, although perhaps not always in a straight path, to accomplish that goal.
